      <title>Re: entertainment and environment</title>
<description>I'm not sure I agree that entertainment is "at it's absolute top" in energy terms (or economic terms, for that matter). Surely the record industry, for non-environmental reasons, is moving away from CD production towards downloads - a more sustainable form of music production in any case. This strikes me as a positive development from a sustainability standpoint, and something we should support for this reason - even if the record industry seems to be losing out somewhat. <title>Very interesting &amp; inspiring article!</title>
<description>This article show that we usually have less ideas about or ignore what we could do in our daily life and work to cut down our own carbon footprint.

I like to read more similar pieces on chinadialogue. They are more useful and helpful than drab and academic stories to educate people to save our planet. </description>

<title>[TRANSLATED] Does entertainment need to care of environment?</title>
<description>Before now there were few checks on the LPs in the entertainment industry, and it was one of the main responsible for carbon emissions. Entertainment is now at its absolute top and is a very good thing that both the music fans and workers are trying to raise up environment consciousness.
At the same time I’m quite happy to see the introduction of solar-powered recording studios. I hope that Chinese singers would start to care about the environment problems in their own music industries too.
