The article is written at such a level of generality it is difficult to tell what (if anything) is really happening in Sino-US environmental relations. The author consistently fails to provide any detail. e.g. “Al Gore showed great interest in China-US environmental cooperation, and announced an initiative that moved both countries toward greater cooperation in..... Is this lack of substance a reflection of Sino-US environmental relations?
