这个冬天，我从日本北海道走到中国南部，到处都在嚷嚷着：这是一个暖冬。虽然我不知道，这并不足以作为全球变暖的证据，却至少，是地球给我们的一个提示。
上文还提到了一个很重要又很有意思的事实：碳排放与其对气温的影响存在一个时间差。这个时间差的数值很难估计，但有点我们可以读出来的是：今天我们所遇到的暖和天气，并不是去年人类活动的结果，可能是十年或者二十年，甚至一百年前人类活动的结果。我们今天采取的行动，不是给昨天自己舒适的行为买单，而且给以前的我们，甚至是我们的父辈买单。如果我们今天不买单，我们的子孙很可能付不起这个代价。
不是为了推卸责任，发达国家应该负起更大的责任，因为今天，是全世界再为他们买单。中国和印度，今天也正是以他们为榜样。中国和印度的帐单，也是逃不掉的。

This winter, I went to places from Hokkaido (Japan) to the South of China. People are all very aware of the warm winter. Although I don't know this is not enough to be an evidence of global warming, it is surely a warning given by the Earth.
There is another interesting point in the article. There is a time lag between carbon emissions and their effect on air temperature. Although this period is hard to estimate, we can still conclude that the warm weather we encounter today is not the effect of what we did last year, but the effect of the activities 20 or 30, or even 100 years ago. The offsetting we try to do today is not for paying off the conveniences we did yesterday, but for paying off the conveniences done by our much elder generations. If we still do nothing now, our children and grandchildren will not be afford the price.
Therefore the developed countries should take more responsibilities, because today the whole world is paying the price for them. China and india, taking the developed countries as their role model, will not escape from that either.
