China says US must do more on climate change
China is pleased the US has been drawn to the negotiating table on climate change, but they must do more to tackle global warming, Reuters quoted a top official as saying on Thursday.
"The United States is an important contributor of emissions both in total and on a per-capita basis. It has both advanced technology and ample funds," Yu Qingtai, China's climate-change ambassador, was quoted as saying."So on the issue of tackling climate change, America should display a more positive, more constructive role."
