Chinese police arrest panda fur trader

Chinese police have arrested a man trying to sell the fur of endangered animals in the southeastern port city of Xiamen; pelts of panda fur and clouded leopard fur were seized.
The pelt of panda fur was from a panda cub and was 60 cm long, the clouded leopard fur was 112 cm long; both are protected animals in China, say wildlife protection experts.

Police say that the arrested man (surnamed Yang) and his accomplice (surnamed Guo), who is still wanted by police, bought the panda cub fur seven years ago for 6,000 yuan (US $750) in Xiamen.
